A Classroom Breakthrough
Danny Corsun has been a Chef-Educator since 2000 and is the founder/creator of Culinary Judaics Academy. This innovative program infuses meaningful Jewish learning into cooking classes for ALL Jews, no matter their age, affiliation or practice. In 2021, CJA added to its in-person workshops by unveiling its plug and play, Netflix-style digital platform (often referred to as “the Masterclass for Jewish learning through cooking”) to bring its Jewishly empowering and dynamic content and curriculum to the world! As Abraham Joshua Heschel said, “Judaism is caught, not taught.” And CJA could not agree more!
In 2009, Danny expanded, creating Culinary Judaics Academy – Infusing meaningful Jewish learning into cooking classes for ALL Jews, no matter their age or level of practice. In 2021 CJA unveiled its online learning platform to bring its Jewishly empowering, innovative cooking workshops to the world! As Abraham Joshua Heschel said, “Judaism is caught, not taught.” And CJA could not agree more!

Joining Danny in the CJA kitchen is his daughter Chef Zoey. Zoey has been cooking with her Dad since the early age of 4 and is pursuing the study of diet and nutrition in college. She clearly connects with CJA’s students and illustrates that no matter one’s age, you can succeed in the kitchen and own your own diet!
